Subject	Rearview mirror

Message	This seems like a stupid question, but how do you get the finishing piece off of the base of the rearview mirror (the one that matches the interior and covers where the mirror bolts to the roof of the Z)? I've tried to gently pry it off with a screwdriver, and I felt like I was either going to break it, or mess up the "leather" on the roof in front of the t-tops. Is there a better way of getting this thing off so I can fix the mirror itself? Thanks, all.
